We are a little operation right here in Oregon—hence the name. Our name is a play on a slang term for embrocation in the Old Country, as well as an homage to one of the best-written cycling related blogs out there: Belgium Knee Warmers.
Our embrocation was created by a naturopathic physician (the short one) whose considerable knowledge of salve, healing herbs, and attention to detail (not to mention a long history of racing) ensures a superior product that is both warming and nourishing to the skin. Her business partner (the taller one) is a former soapmaker and brings a nose for essential oils, isn't afraid of spreadsheets, and likes to pretend he can make websites (insert shameless plug for his fiancé's website).
We create our product in small batches from carefully chosen ingredients, and consider both the method of extraction as well as the location of origin when choosing an ingredient.
